Birmingham Film Studios Interns
Three months of intensive filmmaking awesomeness.
We’ll be spending the next three months at Birmingham Film Studios getting ourselves stuck into an intensive film making internship. Each week we’ll be taking it in turns to blog about our journey and what we’ve been getting up to.
Our first task as the first interns at BFS was to decorate and furnish our office, to give us space to plan and edit anything we make.
Birmingham Film Studios Interns, Jack, Nathaniel, and Jay have developed their skill set and put it to fine use in raising awareness of bad balls.
The Intern Team
I am a recent graduate achieving a 2:1 in Film studies and Screenwriting from the University of Worcester. I have a background in producing and project managing student films as the chair of the filmmaking society. I am a board game enthusiast and am a regular on a board game podcast named Who’s turn is it anyway? (@whosturns).
Originally from Wolverhampton, but now a film production graduate from Worcester, I have spent the last three years developing my knowledge of the world of film. My skills have not only been praised by my peers but also my tutors, which led me to receive a message from Human Voice Productions requesting my help with ‘Silent War’. To date, the film has over 20,000 YouTube hits.
I run a gaming YouTube channel where I post videos of let’s plays which you can see at www.youtube.com/user/TJM200. Developing this channel has enabled me to learn editing skills. This internship will help me improve these skills and I am really looking forward to gaining more experience in the film industry with Birmingham Film Studio.
